OUR HISTORY
Catalyst Construction (CATCON) was established in 2015 as a locally owned and managed General Contracting firm. CATCON is fully owned and operated by long-time residents and businessmen, Thomas V. Tanaka Jr. and Jose B. Sicad. Collectively, both principals combined possess more than 60 years of construction and management experience.
More importantly, CATCON's current field management team consists of seasoned individuals with more than 50 years of direct construction experience in civil and structural works ranging from grading and clearing, water and sewer line installations, water tank works, road works, rebar fabrication and installation, and concrete structural works to name a few.
CATCON is a “solutions driven” company dedicated to ensuring clients meet budgetary goals and achieve project milestones. CATCON is also “results oriented” and understands that performance is key to productivity and project success. Finally, CATCON is “local” which enables the firm to better navigate Guam’s unique business and operating landscape allowing the company to increase efficiency and avoid project delays during the pre-construction, construction and close out phases.
